HEALTH HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE

Knowledge is useful when it meets people where they are.

At home, at school, at work, in families and communities , health is more than what happens in a clinic.

LEARN

Build your knowledge.

PREVENTION & RISK

What can lower risk?

Prevention should never become blame. Type 2 diabetes risk is shaped by genetics, age, environment, access to healthy food, opportunities to move, socioeconomic conditions and other factors , alongside behaviours that people may be able to change.

MHH principle: Prevention content will focus on evidence and practical options without pretending every person has the same choices, environment or risk.

MOVEMENT & EXERCISE SCIENCE

Move for health , and understand why.

Not a list of punishing workouts. This section will connect exercise science with realistic movement for different ages, bodies, abilities and starting points.

Future MHH exercise pieces will explain the evidence behind activities such as walking, resistance training, balance and aerobic exercise , with adaptations rather than one-size-fits-all prescriptions.

Worth knowing in diabetes.

A small selection of developments we think are worth your time , not an attempt to cover every headline. We link to original sources and keep evidence status visible.

RESEARCH, EXPLAINED

Go beyond the headline.

Start with the evidence. Then understand what it says, why it matters and what it doesn't tell us.

How MHH chooses resources

We look for credible authorship, clear purpose, useful access and relevance to a defined audience. We prefer original sources and deliberately look beyond a single country or health system.

A note about health information

MHH is educational and does not replace medical advice from your healthcare team.
